It used to be easy to navigate around the area. Now,with all the construction and blocked off streets,not so much. The new apartment buildings don't help either(5 boroughs type eyesores). The station can also be labyrinth like at times itself also.
Trains always on time and plenty of parking. New eateries opening up soon!

Meh. Sometimes the A/C works… sometimes it doesn’t. Same for heat in winter. The windows leak when it rains so you WILL get wet. Monthly commuter for years, every car has its problems. But usually the conductors are awesome people.
One of the better lines from eastern Suffolk County has lots of parking. I only wish LIRR would run some express trains on weekends, especially after, Mets baseball and Rangers hockey games! Maybe 5 or 6 stops not 11.
The station needs an overhaul and better control over what trains are pulling out and when. The train I boarded had no signage lit on the outside and nothing was posted on the interior either. The conductor was drowning on the pa to announce where we were going. Customers were confused on what train to board either for Greenport or Grand Central. Get your act together guys!
Parking to run into station was hard but otherwise great station.
Whenever i want to take a trip into the city I always take the train, it's safe, convenient and cost effective for $28.50 round trip. Trains run every hour, their clean and quiet, I can relax with a book, or close my eyes and rest convenient l comfortably before I reach my destination at Penn. With gas and parking in the city at an all time high, taking the train is the only way I'll make my way into the city!
The easiest way to travel into New York City
About as nice as a RR station can be.
Efficient staff. Decent accommodations.
